My dear Uncle Donnie. Even though wr lived 100's of miles apart thought of you often. Loved our early morning conversations every few months. Talks about the family. The stories you told me about Mama especially. Our conversations about the love of horses, dogs and cats. You have finally taken your journey home to be with everyone and every pet that has past before. Love you and will miss our phone calls. Always in my heart

It was great to know Don and be one of his neighbors. It was always a joy to run into him on the block and have a conversation with him. Thoughts and Prayers to his family and loved ones.

Uncle Donnie was a wonderful man who taught me to drive a car on the many country roads outside Athens, IL, long, long ago. That was fun. He had a good sense of humor and he and our family had many good times together. Love you, Uncle Donnie! Jill
