Dora J. Haire, 82, of Springfield, passed away on April 8, 2010. She was born January 14, 1928 in Somerset, Bermuda, the daughter of Eric and Adela Wehekind Hoare. She married James B. Haire on January 27, 1949 in Hamilton, Bermuda. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Dora is survived by her children; three sons, James of Bermuda, John (wife, Gail) of O’Fallon, IL and Eric Haire of Sherman, IL; three daughters, Rebecca Haire of Big Bear, CA, Debra Joshu of Millstadt, IL and Erin Haire of Springfield, IL; nine grandchildren; and her twin sister, Eugenie King of Bermuda. The family will have a private visitation. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos Ave, Springfield, with Rev. Robert J. Jallas, celebrant. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2008 S. LaSalle St., Chicago, IL 60604.
