Dorothy J. Nass

Dorothy J. Nass, 95, of Auburn, passed away on Friday September 1, 2017 at Auburn Nursing and Rehab. She was born on October 24, 1921 in Springfield to Peter and Lena Woodcock Pemberton. Dorothy married Raymond Nass on December 9, 1945 in Springfield and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1998.

Mrs. Nass is survived by two sons: Paul (Yvonne) Nass of Springfield and Ronald (Quita) Nass of Sandpoint, Idaho, three daughters: Mary Beth (companion Gene Norris) Bridges, Vicki (Arlyn) Franzen and Jennifer (Brad Punke) Fitzgerald all of Springfield, one sister Geneva Creviston, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and three sisters.

Dorothy was a homemaker who cherished and treasured the time she had spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a life member of Third Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday September 11, 2017 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
