Eileen M. Favero

She was born on November 17, 1926 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Albert and Leah (Hill) Pierard. She married Rudy Favero on Oct. 20, 1945 in Springfield and he preceded her in death in 2010.

Mrs. Favero retired from the State of Illinois Board of Education and was a member of St. Cabrini Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Lanphier High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by 4 daughters, LeeAnn (husband Ray) Cicci of Springfield, Lynn Favero of Springfield, Patty (husband Paul) Burman of Chesterfield, MO, and Cindy (husband Kevin) Velten of Virginia, IL; 2 sons, Kim Favero of Springfield, and David (wife Mary Ann) Favero of Springfield, 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren soon to be born; and a sister Lynda (husband Al) Brewer of Huntley, IL.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Private graveside services will be held.
