Eileen G. Maynard

Eileen Maynard, 92, of Springfield died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, February 07, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital. Eileen was born March 23, 1911 in Kidder, South Dakota the daughter of Eugene and Iva Cornell Corliss. She married Frank Maynard, November 8, 1931 in Breckenridge, MN; he preceded her in death September 18, 1972. Mrs. Maynard was a homemaker and a member of First General Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Viola June Hamilton; four grandchildren; one great grandchild. She is survived by daughter: Paula (husband, Al) Hornbeek of Chatham; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren including: Douglas Patrick O’Shea of Springfield, Craig O’Shea of Dawson; several great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Arlawyn (husband, Ed) Becker of CO, Mildred Rasmussen of AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-7:00 p.m. Monday, February, 9, 2004. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Clint Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
