Ellie Marie Slater, infant daughter of Kevin and Toni Slater was born and entered into eternal life Monday, August 16, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center. Surviving are her parents, Kevin and Toni Slater of Springfield; sister, Kaylee Brooke Slater, brother, Kobe Benjamin Slater, at home; grandparents, Don and Sue Rice of Tremont, IL and John and Dale Slater of Trenton, GA, great-grandmother, Virginia L. Miller of Peoria. Private graveside services will be held at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton, GA. The family of Ellie Marie Slater is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
