Erin Bauman

Erin Bauman, 53, of Springfield, died at 7:42 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her home. Erin was born November 22, 1960 in Charleston, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Ellen McNeely Lesh. She married Jon B. Bauman on September 7, 1985 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield. Erin was a lifelong member of Christ the King Parish. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Danny Lesh. She is survived by her husband, Jon Bauman of Springfield; one son, Jon B. Bauman, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; three daughters, Molly E., Emily A., and Megan M. Bauman, all of Springfield; mother, Mary Ellen Lesh of Springfield; one sister, Molly (husband, Tom) Rockford of Pleasant Plains; a special niece, Kelly Rockford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Christ the King Parish, 1930 Barberry, Springfield. The memorial gathering will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Concelebrated Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Christ the King Parish, with Rev. Msgr. David S. Lantz, celebrant and Rev. Joseph Ring, concelebrant. Private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
