She was born in Springfield on January 14, 2022, the beloved daughter of Joseph and Katharine (Flemming) Saucier.
Evelynn was a shining light—strong, brave, kind, smart, and beautiful. Evelynn found pure joy in the simplest pleasures—drawing colorful pictures with chalk, swinging high in her swing, painting, and gently caring for flowers as if they were her own little treasures. She adored jamming out with her Tonie Box, loved watching her Disney classics (Aristocats, Robinhood, and Cars) and enjoyed her walks around the “red store” (Target) proudly cruising with her purple wheels. Every week, she looked forward to her “playtime” with Trisha and Jenna, and music class at the Hoogland with Miss Molly. Evelynn was the proudest big sister and loved to care for her Margaret Mae by helping with diapers, splashing in the bath, and teaching her “Dada”. In her short time here, she gave so much to this world by participating in multiple research studies to help fight pediatric brain tumors. Her strength will help other children and families. Every moment with her was a reminder of the beauty in joy, resilience, and love.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, William and Aileen Flemming and Gerald German; and paternal grandpa, William Saucier.
Evelynn is survived by her parents; sister, Margaret Mae Saucier; maternal great-grandmother, Reba German; maternal grandparents, Dan and Lynn Flemming and Candice German; paternal grandmother, Patty Saucier; aunts, Anne Bishoff (Jerry) and Dana (Nick) Constant; uncle, Nick (Alyssa) Flemming, Mitch (Sooa) Anderson, Mike Anderson; cousins, Drew & Emma Bishoff; Levi, Luke, and Trent Constant; Kelsey and Emily Flemming; and Aria and Lua Anderson; as well as many beloved great aunts, great uncles, and extended family.
