Frank W. Jaranowski, 80, of Springfield, died at 5:20 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007 at his residence. Frank was born December 3, 1926 in Calumet City, IL, the son of Joseph and Agnes Konkel Jaranowski. Frank worked at LTV Steel Corporation in Hammond, Indiana until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at the Springfield Senior Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Marty and Leonard Jaranowski. He is survived by a sister: Bernadine (husband, John) Baricevich of Lansing, IL; a sister-in-law: JoAnn Jaranowski of Calumet City; and several nieces and nephews and dear friend, Yvonne Cantu of Springfield. Cremation was accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The family of Frank W. Jaranowski is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
