Glenn “Dicky” Blissett, Jr., 49, of Springfield, died at 7:04 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at his residence. Dicky was born June 5, 1955 in Springfield the son of Glenn G., Sr. and Charlotte Stubbs Blissett. He married Jacqueline Hagaman, February 9, 1974 in Springfield. Mr. Blissett, a 1972 graduate of Southeast High School, was employed by Bunn Capitol for 30 years as a truck driver and warehouseman. He was a member of Teamsters Local 916. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Judy Blissett. He is survived by his wife: Jackie of Springfield; two sons: Jason (wife, Sarah) Blissett and Jeremy Blissett both of Springfield; one daughter: Judy Blissett of Springfield; mother: Charlotte Blissett; one niece and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Holinga officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
