I have known Guy since he started working in Decatur. He was my dads attorney and just became a family friend over the years. I will miss our talks & phone calls giving each other all kinds of grief lol. RIP Guy you will be missed so much.

Guy was a prominent attorney in Decatur since 1980.  I’m a court reporter and have known him for 45 years.  I’ve written down thousands of words that he has spoken.  We had some very unusual cases together, but under his sometimes gruff demeanor, he had the heart of a teddy bear and represented his clients well.  He will be very much missed in central Illinois.  May he rest in peace.

Guy was one of my best friends for years.
My Mother loved him.  He walked on our fresh painted porch and she didnt care.
He loved his mustang and was very smart. My sympathy to his family.

My prayers for Guys family. A very unique man.

Guy was one of a kind! He started as our attorney and over the years became our friend. His gruff, to the point , no nonsense approach to everything made him one of the most unique people we’ve  ever known. The memories that we have of him are spoken of frequently and always leave us laughing and smiling! Whether he was walking into court looking like a million dollar Hollywood attorney or walking around Sam's Club in a track suit, he will be missed by us. Thanks for the laughs and the memories Guy, we will forever be grateful and you will always be apart of our family story.
