Helen J. Austin, 100, of Jacksonville, passed away on Monday March 25, 2013 at Heritage Health Care Center in Jacksonville. She was born on November 20, 1912 in Salem, IL., the daughter of Adolph and Anna Craig Johnson. She married Floyd Austin in Springfield in 1939 and he preceded her in death in April of 2006.
She is survived by one sister Lucille Finney of Springfield.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday March 28, 2013 at Oak Ridge Cemetery Chapel with Rev. John Standard officiating. The family will meet friends from 1:00pm until the time of service at the chapel.
