

Helen Lavada Goodall, 67, of Springfield, died at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Helen was born January 10, 1946 in Morristown, TN, the daughter of James A. and Louella Campbell Morrow. She married George K. Goodall Sr. on March 4, 1968 in Springfield. Helen owned and operated G&M Cleaning since 1993 and had worked for over 10 years for Stewart Warner Hobbs. She was a member of the World of Poetry Society and Nashville Song Writers Association. Helen loved art, music and poetry. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David R. Morrow; and one great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Brown. She is survived by her husband, George Goodall, Sr. of Springfield; children, Roxanna (husband, Dave) VanHyning of Jacksonville, Jacqueline (husband, Will) Almomani and Shelley Burg all of Springfield, George K. Goodall, Jr. of Riverton, and Raymond K. (wife, Kristina) Goodall of Springfield; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and siblings, James (wife, Cynthia) Morrow of Chatham and Barbara J. Turner of Jacksonville. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. 12:45 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
