Cayde was the son of Marki Alexandria Pressler and Cody Ryan Lay.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Clinton Lay, Sr. and great-grandma, Mary Pressler.
He is survived by his parents of Springfield; one brother, Carson Robert Lay of Springfield; grandparents, Kris (husband, Mark) Pressler of Springfield, Clinton Lay, Jr. of Springfield and Tracy Elizabeth; four great-grandparents; Jeanie (husband, Eddie) Dodd of Springfield, Karen Lay of Shelbyville, Marshall (wife, Peggy) Pressler and Terry (husband, Bill) Schaefer; three aunts, Serena Lay, Heather McCoy and Tori Pressler; and one uncle, Caelan Lay.
Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
