Jacqueline "Jackie" H. McNally

Jacqueline "Jackie" H. McNally, 87, of Springfield, passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. Jackie was born on November 1, 1930 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Ralph F. and Louise T. Stosberg Paglusch. She married Robert "Bob" McNally on September 10, 1955 in St. Louis; he preceded her in death. Jackie was a 1948 graduate of Cleveland High School. She was employed by Bell as a Telephone Operator and then employed by the Illinois Department of Public Health and Illinois Emergency Management Agency. She assisted with emergency trainings and emergency exercises. Jackie was a member of the Cardinals Baseball Booster Club and the West Side Democrats. Jackie and Bob served as a host family for many Governmental Interns and Cardinals baseball players over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, attending Cardinals spring training and games, and attending events and activities for her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Betty Smeltzer; and her granddaughter, Stephanie McNally. She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Cheryl) McNally of Columbia, MO and Stephen (Nelly) McNally of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Kim (Alan "Chic") Eades of Nixa, MO and Jami (Carl) Severino of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Beth (Matt) Cain, Stephen (Melissa Kaleel) Eades, Kristina McNally, and Michael and Matthew Severino; one great-grandchild, Greyson Cain; and three siblings, Fred (Shirley) Wehrenberg of Columbia, IL, Dennis (Linda) Paglusch of St. Louis, MO, and Shirley Larocca of Florissant, MO. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Wehrenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
