James Milkoski, 82, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. James was born November 2, 1926 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Charles and Lily Helman Milkoski. He married Dolores "Dee" Durer in 1963. James served as a merchant marine and retired from the Problem Resolution Division of the Illinois Department of Revenue. He enjoyed playing golf whenever he got the chance. Preceding James in death are his parents. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dee Milkoski of Springfield; his children, Michael Milkoski of Pontiac, Kent (wife, Judy) Boelling of O'Fallon, MO, Kim Bathon of Waterloo, and Karen Boelling of Troy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Robert (wife, Rose) Milkoski of St. Louis, MO; and three nephews. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
