He was born October 4, 1976, in Springfield, IL, the son of Paulette Lynn Nation.
Jason attended Lanphier High School, Rankin University in St. Louis, and Lincoln Land Community College. Jason was employed as a computer tech for Field Nation. He enjoyed dining out, spending time with friends, Ford Thunderbirds, reading, going to concerts, movies, plays, and he was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills. He also loved animals and children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Nation; brother, William “Billy” Nation; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ardella Ozellis; great-uncle, Pete Ozellis; uncle, Timothy Grady; and cousin, Matthew Grady.
Jason is survived by his two aunts, Mary Jo Ozellis of Springfield and Donna Grady of Rochester, IL.
Visitation and Graveside Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield. 900 S. 6th St, Springfield. A graveside ceremony will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
