She was born in Salem, OH, August 24, 1928, the daughter of Joshua and Ellen (Satterwaite) Henderson. She married Dr. Randall McClelland June 16, 1951 in Salem, OH and he preceded her in death March 27, 2006, while they were living in Quincy, IL Jean was also preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers; Frank and Ed Henderson and her sister, Anna Marie Holloway.
Jean was a teacher in the St. Louis Public Schools.
Surviving are her children: Johnathan McClelland of Monroe City, MO, Peg (husband Ben) Kruger of Springfield, IL, Chris (wife Suzanne) McClelland of Collinsville, IL, Tim (wife Tina) McClelland of Palmyra, MO and Mike McClelland of Seatle, WA. There are sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be in Salem OH.
