

Jean B. Trello, 88, of Springfield, died at 3:55 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. Jean was born January 1, 1919 in Springfield, the daughter of Pasquale and Marie Antonacci Iocca. She married John J. Trello on January 8, 1942; he preceded her in death on October 22, 1985. Jean was a graduate of Ridgely Elementary School and Lanphier High School. She was a homemaker and previously worked at Iocca’s Market, the family grocery business. She was a very caring woman and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Jean volunteered at St. Aloysius’ school library. She also enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and baking. She was also preceded in death by four sisters: Ann Iocca, Flora Redick, Ada Iocca and Pat Ranalletta; and three brothers: Angelo, David and Mario Iocca. She is survived by one son: John M. (wife, Paula) Trello of Springfield; three daughters: Nancy (husband, Chris) Dinardo of Springfield, Carol (husband, John) Kublick of Springfield and Diane (husband, Paul) Dow of Sherman; eight grandchildren: Michael and Gregory Trello, Kathleen Wilson, Christopher Dinardo, Melissa Hammer, Lindsey Kublick and Nicholas and Danielle Dow; four great-grandchildren: Gabrielle and Logan Dinardo, Emily Wilson and Alexandra Trello; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private family funeral ceremonies were held at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield where Fr. Mark Schulte officiated. Burial followed at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
