Jennifer Lynn Robinson

Jennifer Lynn Robinson, 37, of Springfield, died at 8:55 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Jennifer was born April 29, 1978 in Lancaster, CA, the daughter of Rev. Dr. Maurice H. and Linda Denton Alms. Jennifer began her career in medical billing, later becoming Director of Medical Coding at Midwest Technical Institute, where she taught medical coding. She later worked from her home. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her son, Colin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joshua Gribble. She is survived by her son, Colin Robinson of Springfield; her parents; Rev. Dr. Maurice and Linda Alms of Troy; her ex-husband, Andy Robinson of Springfield; siblings, Heathr (husband Zechariah) English of Billings, MT, Natasha (husband, Eric) Cheatham of Wildwood, MO, Misha Alms of Troy, Sasha Alms of St. Louis, MO, Seth (wife, Kirsten) Alms of Troy, Alexander Alms of Dexter, MO, and Zachariah and Dustin Alms, both of Troy. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Ceremony: The family will host a memorial ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 220 S. 2nd St., Springfield, with Pastor Strong officiating.
