

Tom was born in Springfield, March 23, 1940 the son of Stuart D. and Catherine Colvin Park. He attended Blessed Sacrament School until the age of 13, then moved to Farmingdale and finished his education at Pleasant Plains High School. While in school, he worked for the family business, Capitol Produce.
After high school, he attended Washington State University where he studied engineering. After college, he joined the National Guard.
Tom’s professional career began with NCR (National Cash Register) as a technician. He later worked for 3M Corporation as a copier technician and then retired from J.P. Distributing as a sales associate. After retirement, he continues active in the family farm.
Tom was also a well-known musician. He played lead guitar and vocals in the band “Three’s A Crowd”. He loved animals and preferred cats.
His parents, a sister Judy Cutright and a niece April Cutright preceded him in death.
Tom married Janice Braner in Springfield, June 17, 1962 and she survives. He is also survived by his son, Jeffery (wife Nancy) Park of Springfield, a brother Stuart C. (wife Diane) Park of New Berlin, IL and 2 nieces; Dorian Anderson and Heidi Atchison.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. where a visitation will be on Sunday April 21, 2013 from 4-7 pm and where funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, April 22, 2013 with Pastor John Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Farmington Cemetery, at Farmingdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
