He was born on May 24, 1985, in Springfield, IL, the son of William Horrighs and Rita Flynn.
Jonathan graduated from Camdenton High School with a background in cooking. He went on to work as a concrete mixer driver with All American Ready Mix. He not only loved his job, but his coworkers and bosses as well. He considered them his extended family. Jonathan was a member of the A.B.A.T.E. motorcycle club and the NSPOA campground. He loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, camping, grilling, and smoking meat and other things.
He is survived by his mother, Rita Flynn of Springfield; father, William Horrighs (Wilma); wife, Valerie of Divernon; children, Tala, Alexis, Dominick, Jonathan Jr., Aliyah, Delilah, Brayden, Violet, Landen and Jocelynn; brothers, Billy Horrighs of Camdenton, MO., Joseph Langley of Virden, and Michael Spangler (Tamara) and Will Spangler, both of Camdenton, MO. He is also survived by an abundance (an army you could say) of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Johnny also leaves behind a best friend of 30 years, Natasha Rogers; and his 4 Godchildren.
Johnny was loved by everyone he knew. He was a kind, generous man, and didn’t know a stranger. He will be missed greatly at home, at work, at the campground, and in the biking community.
