Joshua V. Hoffman

Joshua V. Hoffman, 22, of Springfield, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at his residence. He was born June 3, 1982 in Springfield, the son of Jeffery and Cherlynn Rulison Hoffman. Joshua graduated from Lanphier High School and attended Lincoln Land Community College. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Robert Hoffman. He is survived by his son: Cameron Hoffman of Springfield; father: Jeff (wife, Myra) Hoffman of Springfield, mother: Cher Hoffman of Springfield; two brothers: Nathan (companion, Sara Swinford)and Evan Hoffman both of Springfield; grandparents: Bob and Joan Rulison of Springfield, Thomas and Jane Pfaffman of Lady Lake, FL; great grandmother: Lena Powell of Springfield; several aunts, uncles; three nieces: Kaylee, Kelsey and Hannah and several cousins. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Rominger officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
