Joyce E. Groves-Hayes

Joyce E. Groves- Hayes of Springfield, died on December 10, 2007 at her home. Joyce was born on June 29, 1944 in Springfield the daughter of Roy Julius and Lena L. Parisotto Groves. Her birth Mother was Anita Mae Bilyeu. She married Harvey “Curt” Hayes, November 20, 1965 in Springfield. He preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents and birth mother. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She was a 1962 graduate of Lanphier High School and served on the “Class of 62 Reunion Committee” for many years. She worked for several Insurance Companies including, Illinois National Insurance, Franklin Life Insurance Company and for the AWOI Association. She was also a self employed domestic engineer for many years and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters: Stacey (husband, Kevin) Warnick of Springfield, Anna Marie (husband, Terry) Seaton of Marshall; Stepson: David Keith (wife, Sandy) Hayes of Apple Valley, CA.; three sisters: Carol Bokamp of Rockford, IL, Roleen (husband, Greg) Thoele and Charlotte (husband Roger ) Brickler both of Springfield; five grandchildren: Rod Conaway, Jr., Jennifer Conaway, of Springfield, Megan Seaton, Hunter Seaton and Lacey Seaton of Marshall; Five step-grandchildren: Catlin Hayes and Bridget Hayes both of Apple Valley CA, Josh Warnick, David Warnick, and Kevin JR. Warnick. Inurnment ceremonies will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery Mausoleum, 1441 Monument Av, Springfield IL, 62702 on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 1p.m. with Rev. Clint Cook officiating.
