Judith "Renee" Hall

Renee was born July 23, 1961, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank L. and Judith M. Rudolph Brake.

She graduated from Southeast High School and earned her associate degree from Lincoln Land Community College. Renee was currently employed at Springfield Memorial Hospital where she had worked for 44 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family on Sunday Funday, playing with her granddaughter, aka Luv Bug, playing Bingo, and camping and boating with her children in her younger years.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sons, Joel (Ami) Hall, Nicholas (Emily Flynn) Hall, and Alexander (Richard Durbin) Hall, all of Springfield; granddaughter, Sophia Hall; former spouse, Kevin Hall of Springfield; and siblings, Gary Brake, Robin Brake, Brenda (Mark Barber) Brake, Holly Brake, and Jacqueline (Paul Metz) Brake, all of Springfield; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the visitation.
