June Mildred Edwards

June Mildred Edwards, 89, of Springfield, died at 5:15 a.m. on November 7, 2013 at her home. June was born March 10, 1924 in Greybull, WY, the daughter of Thomas Chester and Lucille Norene Angell Collins. She married Kenneth Edwards on December 24, 1941 in St. Louis; he preceded her in death in 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas. She is survived by one son, Kenneth (wife, Sherry) Edwards of Springfield; two daughters, Nancy Nelson-Perkins of Springfield and Judy (husband, Vic) Gabrinas of Green Bank, WA; one brother, Norman Collins of Washington; eight grandchildren, Nancy Butcher, Teresa (husband, Dean) Williams, Scott Nelson, Curley (wife, Lori) Edwards, Susan Cooper, Nickolas Edwards, Victor Gabrinas, and Jody Gabrinas; seventeen great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Nelson, Joe Nelson, Molly Butcher, Katie Butcher, Logan Williams, Benjamin Williams, Devin Williams, McKenzie Winch, Nathan Edwards, Austin Kinsinger, Victoria Cooper, Kenney Cooper, Sarah Cooper, Michael Cooper, Bridget Gabrinas, Bailey Brown, and Alexa Brown; and six nieces and nephews. Memorial Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Springfield First 7th Day Adventist Church, 3168 W. Jefferson St., Springfield, with Pastor John Lewis officiating.
