Justin Roach, 39, of Jacksonville formerly of Chatham, passed away at his mothers home on Thursday, May 1, 2014. He was born November 7, 1974 in Slidell, LA and moved to Chatham, 27 years ago. Justin graduated from Glenwood High School in 1993and worked as a prep cook at several restaurants in the area. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Leota Tendick and Carolyn Matthews. He will be greatly missed by his mother and stepfather, Sherry (Kerry) Lohrenz of Chatham; brothers, Jake (McKenzie Smith) Lohrenz of Chatham, Joel Lohrenz of Springfield; grandparents, Dave (Sheila) Lohrenz of Jacksonville, Bev (John) Lamm of Waverly; aunt, Pam (Dana) Harpole of Jacksonville and uncle, Randy (Carol) Lohrenz of NC; niece, Irie Lohrenz and nephew, Nash Lohrenz, several cousins and many friends. Cremation rites will be accorded before services by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham. Memorial gathering will be held from 3pm until the Memorial Service which begins at 5pm, Wednesday, May 7, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham. Memorial contributions may be made to Chatham Friends of the Parks Foundation, PO Box 313, Chatham, IL, 62629. Justin enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing in the central Illinois area.
