

Kailey Ingram, 20, of Springfield, passed away at 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at St. John's Hospital. Kailey was born December 12, 1990 in Springfield, the daughter of Kurt Ingram and Mikki Smith. Kailey graduated in 2008 and dreamed of one day becoming a children's author. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chatham and enjoyed expressing herself through art and music. She was a fan of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Kailey was an amazing, loving and compassionate young woman who loved life and put others before herself. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents; grandfather, Parker Ingram; uncle, Shawn Smith; and cousin, Shawn Carson Smith. She is survived by her mother, Mikki (husband, Steve) Wareham of Springfield; father, Kurt (wife, Kerry) Ingram of Springfield; siblings, Kaden Shawn-Michael Wareham, Kerby Elizabeth Ingram, Konnor Joseph Ingram and Kyle Jacob Ingram, all of Springfield; grandparents, Lip and Ev Smith of Taylorville; grandmother, Tommie Ingram of Chatham; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Dr. Beth Steh, Terri Boyd and Kiley Marsaglia. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 700 E. Spruce St., Chatham. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. John H. Nolan, celebrant. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery. In honor of Kailey's cheerful personality, we invite guests to wear bright and cheerful clothing.
