Katelyn Nicole Clark

Katelyn Nicole Clark, 22, of Springfield, died at 10:36 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. John's Hospital. Katelyn was born March 18, 1992 in Springfield. Katie was a strong, unique and loving young lady who loved everyone. Her favorite color was pink and she enjoyed playing with her fingers and bouncing on her parents laps. She loved riding around in the Dodge truck with the wind in her face and feeling the bass of the music. She loved her bumpy bike cart rides and splashing around in the pool. She was preceded in death by her two great-grandfathers, Richard Morton and Melvin Pratt; and grandmother, Patricia Miller. She is survived by her mother, Teresa (husband, Sean) Fox of Springfield and father, Evert Clark; one brother, Drake Clark of Springfield; grandmother, Mary Morton of Springfield; great-grandmother, Noraine Morton of Springfield; several aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles; and tons of friends. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
