

Kenneth Barnick, 81, of Chatham, passed away December 18, 2014. He was born October 4, 1933 to Joseph and Bernice Johnson Barnick. Ken married Sharlene Ann Holbrook, February 23, 1957. He will be greatly missed by his wife Sharlene; daughters, Debra (Michael) Lawson of Bloomington, IL, Cindy Boyd of Evansville, WY, Laura (Ken) Smith of Rochester, IL, Kathleen (Matt) Ryan of Rochester, IL, Nancy (Charly) Smarjesse of Ormond by the Sea, FL, Michelle Cotton of Rochester, IL; grandchildren, Rebecca (Todd) Harris, Jessica (Mac) Ingmire, Christopher (Sarah) Lawson, Christine (Cole) Moser, Andrew Barnick, Austin Boyd, Carly Boyd, Cody Boyd, Joe (Ashley) Smith, Julie (Neal) Griffith, Jennifer (Austin) O�Malley, Geoff (Jessi) Ryan, Sarah Ryan fianc� Tyler, Sean Ryan, Nicholas Smarjesse, Jacob Smarjesse, Shaughnessey Cotton, Tyler Cotton, Morgan Cotton, Drew Cotton; Great grandchildren, Eden and Avery Harris, Cohen Ingmire, Isabelle Boyd, Sierra and Haden Moser, Audrina and Preston Griffith, Lucy, Jack, and Henry Smith, Anna O�Malley; sister, Shirley (Edward) Skala of Pingree Grove, IL; sister-in-law, Florence Barnick of North Platte, NE; brother-in-law, Tom (Jo) Holbrook of Minooka, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation rites will be accorded before services by Cremation Services of Central Illinois of Chatham. His family will greet friends at a memorial gathering from 1pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 3pm, Sunday, December 21 at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, IL 62629.
