

Kenneth was born on April 3, 1943, in Riddle Hill, IL, the son of Elmer and Lucy (Koke) Stephens. He married Martha Robertson on May 16, 1965, in New Berlin and she preceded him in death in 2020.
Kenneth was very patriotic and loved to attend the Flag Lowering Ceremony at Lincoln’s Tomb every Tuesday for over 30 years. Kenneth had worked in farming and truck driving.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Laurence Rhea, Clyde, Harold, and Robert Stephens; and sister, Gladys Emmett.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Betsy (Ted) Camp of Springfield, and Marcia (Ray) Harmon of Berlin; seven grandchildren, James and Stephen Roth, Adam and Matthew Harmon, Jessica Campbell, William Roth, and Emmaleigh Kaydus; seven great-grandchildren, Jonathon Roth, Raymond Mulkin, Ember Campbell, Shea Harmon, Robert Jordan, Roland Jordan and Addison Roth; siblings, Martha Ann Allison of Buffalo, Melvin Stephens of Springfield, and Howard (Kathleen) Stephens of Berlin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home – New Berlin, 714 E. Gibson St. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Berlin Cemetery.
