Kevin C. Wilcockson

Kevin was born in Springfield, July 10, 1962 the son of Darrell E. and Colleen (Moore) Wilcockson. Kevin proudly served in the United States Army, earning the rank of SP4.

Kevin was a meat cutter for Magro’s Meats in Springfield. He enjoyed his career and especially his co-workers. They were very supportive and stood by his side during his illness and treatments. He loved his family and was most appreciative for the care and concern express by them as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, Stephen and Stanley and a dear nephew Rob Levi and great nephew, Nicolas Levi.

Surviving are his two sisters; Pamela Levi of Springfield and Dianne (Paul) Heavington of West Chicago, IL, his brother, John Wilcockson of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Kevin’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory.

A graveside service take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11:00 am. Pastor Mark Gifford will officiate with military honors provided by the Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
