Lincoln was born at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020, the infant son of Scott G. and Jordynn M. Boyd McDermand. He weighed 1.9 lbs and measured 11 inches long.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Vernita Oney and great-uncle, Michael Todd Dixon.
Lincoln is survived by his parents, Scott and Jordynn McDermand of Auburn; grandparents, Dan and Jill Horn of Springfield, Jeff McDermand of FL, and John and Dawn Boyd of Springfield; great-grandparents, Jim and Linda Dixon of Springfield, Larry and Shirley Boyd of FL, Gerri Allen of FL, and Jan Evans of Springfield; and aunts and uncles, Daniel and Kayla Tomczyk of Springfield, Michael and Mariah McDermand of Auburn, and Sean McDermand of CO.
Private family ceremonies will be held. Burial will follow at Auburn Cemetery.
