Linda graduated from Lanphier High School in 1974 and attended the University of South Carolina at Columbia and U of I Springfield. She retired from the State of Illinois Department of Human Services.
Linda is survived by her daughters: Stephanie (Ray) Perry and Taylor Vincent, sisters: Susan Lee and Carol Ann (Jeffrey) Leathers. She adored her grandchildren: Chloe, Giana, Marina, Dominic, Mateo, Alma and Javier, two step-grandchildren Jack and Julia and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service conducted by Rev. Jerry Weber will be held at Chatham Baptist Church, 1500 E. Walnut Street in Chatham on April 27, 2024 at 1:00pm followed by a catered dinner. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
