Lori Dodson

She was born on February 28, 1960, the daughter of Keith and Margaret “Meg” (Bryan) Mahan.

Lori graduated from Glenwood High School in 1978. She was employed at Chatham Bank, the Village of Chatham as a tax collector for twelve years and with Zimmer Smith and Associates in the medical field. Lori had a natural love of children. Her kids, granddaughter and “grand” cats were number one in her heart. She also enjoyed lighthouses, traveling, and Lake Michigan. Lori was a member of the Chatham community the majority of her life. She had a bubbly spirit, loved to laugh, planned the best birthday parties and loved her kids above all else.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Mahan and brother, Mark Mahan.

Lori is survived by her mother, Margaret “Meg” Mahan of Chatham; son, Travis (Brandi) Dodson of Lincoln; daughter, Aubrey Dodson of Chatham; granddaughter, Lilli Dodson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Boardman- Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Avenue West, Springfield. A Sharing of Remembrances will begin at 4:00 p.m.
