

Lorine “Lolly” Turley, 81, of Springfield, died at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at St. John’s Hospital. Lorine was born on November 8, 1924 in Springfield, the daughter of William J. and Katherine Scheirlang Conroy. She married Robert L. Turley, Sr., on May 7, 1947 at Third Presbyterian Church in Springfield; he preceded her in death on January 17, 2004. Lorine was a former member of Third Presbyterian Church. She retired as a clerk from Horace Mann Insurance Company and she had also been employed at Shaughnessy and Edwards Jewelers. She was a very fun and exciting lady who enjoyed playing bingo, riverboats and traveling. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Neanetta Smith and Kathleen Turasky. She is survived by two sons: Robert, Jr. (wife, JoAnne) Turley of Springfield, David (wife, Marcy) Turley of Lewistown; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister: Marie Magro of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m – 1:00 p.m on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Scott Brindley, officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery. The family of Lorine “Lolly” Turley is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
