Lynne was a friend who I met at  Newcomers' Club back in 1973.  We played in a bridge club for a few years.  She enjoyed the game and very competitive.  We played couples' bridge with she and David.  Both enjoyed the game very much.  They were most kind when it was their time to entertain at their home.  She was so happy when she and David were expecting each daughter.  Whenever, I went to Walmart, I would seek her out and we would visit.  She was very helpful with helping me with fabric or a craft and was interested in hearing what project I was working on.  I am so sad to hear of her untimely death.  She will be missed.

Your mother waited on me one time at Walmart. She went above the call of duty in trying to track down enough white cloth dinner napkinds for my son's wedding! She succeeded in her quest and I will always remember her determination and kindness. May she rest in peace and may your memories help you in the days to come.

We  knew your parents through the Owaneco Masonic Lodge.  We saw you girls often in your younger years.  We were deeply saddened to learn of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful person. My prayers and thoughts are with you girls and your family. I had worked with your mother for many fond years. You girls  were her world, she was so proud of you. I will cherish my memories of your mother.

I would like to express my dearest sympathy  to your family.  I did not know Lynne personally but she was a very helpful and kind person who worked at Walmart.  She will be deeply missed.

Lynne was a very nice lady and friend. We will most certainly miss her at our Sertoma meetings of which she was a faithful member. She was so proud of her daughters, son-in-law and grandsons.

Just want to pass a message to her daughters - I hope you both know how proud she is of you both. Every month when I see your mom she always gives me updates on your lives and how your doing and bragging on the grandbabies. Last week I seen the newest addition to your family.  I am deeply saddened by her passing we talked and seen her through the passing of her husband and now she is gone.  You ladies have to be so proud of your parents they were so sweet and amazing people.  I wish you love and peace in this time.. So so sorry for your loss

Lynne was indeed "Proud to be a Sertoman." She was a faithful and charitable member of our Taylorville Sertoma Club. Just recently she was the "Sheriff" where she levied fines to other Sertoma members for unSertoma-like behaviors.  She was always so positive and fun.  We will miss her.

So sorry. Lynne was a special friend and so proud of her family especially those grand babies. She will be missed by many.

Our dear, dear friend of 41 years will be missed.  She was so proud of her lovely daughters, and she couldn't say enough about those two grand babies.

I worked with Lynne for 32 yrs. She had an allergy to cardboard .....I put more band aids on her fingers , than anybody I know ! Praying for her girls at this time, for peace and comfort.

Lynne was a wonderful woman and good friend. She was always very helpful to the customers in Walmart. I work on the road, but always made sure to find her at the store to say hello and hear how her family was doing. She amazed me with her strength when David passed. She was truly remarkable. I wish the best for her children and grandchildren. She will always be with you.

Lynne was such a great lady. So nice and was always a hard worker. Seen her at Walmart all the time. Praying for her kids as I know this has to be a tough time for them.

It has been a blessing to know Lynne nearly thirty years.  She loved talking about her family (especially her girls and her two grandsons), her face lighting up when relaying stories about them.  It is never easy to lose a cherished member of our lives and families, and certainly not one so vibrant and young... But all of us who knew Lynne and worked with her are much richer have done so... My sincerest condolences to her family.  We all shall miss her.

Very sad to hear of Lynne's passing. She was such a very nice lady and very knowledgeable  about the fabrics and any sewing questions  I may have had. She was always very pleasant to her customers . RIP Lynne. You've earned your wings!
