

Mardell Holloway-Haynes, 62, of Chicago, passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on April 18, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Leaster and Georgia Woodard Holloway.
She is survived by one son Terrance (Kimberly) Herrington, one daughter Robin Haynes, and two sisters: Irma (Peter) Holloway-Hart and Brinda Holloway-Slaughter all of Springfield,ten grandchildren: William Lashon Holloway, Pee’k Blu Haynes, Sirgarrett Twirstin Haynes, Princess Monet Haynes, Asha Johnay Meredith, Phoenix Dellmar Haynes, Jhunter William Haynes, Terrance Mac James Herrington, Trey Allen Herrington, and Timothy Dell Herrington. She was preceded in death by her son William Mack Broussard, and her brother James Holloway.
Mardell attended UCLA and majored in art. She then went to work as a dietician at the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and in Springfield, Illinois at Memorial Medical Center. She loved planting flowers and spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
