She was born in Pana on February 10, 1939, the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Shull) Medley. Marian married James H. Reynolds on October 18, 1957.
Marian graduated from Pana High School and earned her associate’s degree from Prairie State College. She went on to work as a preschool teacher as well as a teacher’s aide for special education for many years. Marian had many creative talents and enjoyed sewing, painting, crafting, gardening, and reading. She was a faithful member of St. Aloysius Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; and sons, Jeffery Lynn and James Patrick Reynolds.
Marian is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Kerry) Nordhoff of Rochester, Connie Aichele of Spokane, WA, and Sally (Mike) Imperio of Richmond, VA; 14 grandchildren; brother, Michael (Kay) Medley of Pana; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private graveside ceremony will be held at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.
