Mary Catherine Dodd

Mary Catherine Dodd, 68, of Springfield, died at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Mary was born February 16, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of Michael and Edith Walters Reagan. Mary was a mother and self-employed housekeeper and was most proud of raising four children on her own. She was an active member of Real Life Church and was a Sunday School Teacher for over 20 years. Mary was a member of the "God Squad" and enjoyed garage sales, shopping, watching golf on TV, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Mickey and John Reagan; and one sister, Bev Weitzel. She is survived by two sons, Cliff (wife, Tammy) Linne and Craig (wife, Kimberly) Linne, Sr., all of Springfield; two daughters, Patti (husband, Tom) Gentry and Catherine Linne Thompson, all of Springfield; eleven grandchildren, Tara (husband, James) Dunne, John Clifford Linne, Lee Reid, Thomas Bowman, Craig Linne, Jr., Joshua Linne, T.J. Gentry Rusty Gentry, Ian Gentry, Reagan Gentry, and Abigail Gentry; six great-grandchildren, Gage and Kaleb Dunne, Austin and Ryan Linne, and Thomas and Tristan Bowman; one sister, Patty (husband, Dan) Broyles of Petersburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Rosie. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 4:30-6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Real Life Church, 2450 Taylor Ave., Springfield.
