Mary Alice Frank

Mary Alice "MAK" Frank, 87, of Springfield, formerly of New Berlin, died at 8:24 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Oak Terrace Nursing Home. Mary Alice was born April 29, 1925, the daughter of Raymond and Leatha Peters King. She married Joseph T. (Slim) Frank in 1946 at St. Mary's Church in New Berlin; he preceded her in death. Mary Alice was a graduate of New Berlin High School and assisted with the gas station business and with tax collection in New Berlin. Mary Alice was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 743 and was Past President. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by two sons, John (wife, Katie) Frank of New Berlin, and David (wife, Debby) Frank of Ooltewah, TN; two granddaughters, Danett (husband, Craig) Moseley of Florence, KY, and Dalana (husband, Matt) Robertson of Nashville, TN; one step-grandson, and Bill Westwood of New Berlin; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold "HAK" King of New Berlin and one sister, Doris McCord of Tinley Park, IL. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson, New Berlin. Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Brosi, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodwreath Cemetery.
