Mary Ann Williams

Mary Ann Williams, 84, of Springfield, passed away at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. Johns Hospital. Mary Ann was born on May 29, 1934 in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Anna Yermalavich Reichert. She married Dale Albert Williams on October 1, 1966 in TN; he preceded her in death in 2013. Mary Ann was a graduate of Springfield High School. She was employed by Illinois Bell/Bell System for 35 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mary Ann and her husband lived in Metairie, Louisiana for 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering for many charities, cooking, and enjoying Cubs games. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Frances Reichert. She is survived by her son, Michael (wife, Tricia) Williams of Lewisville, TX; three grandchildren, Camille, Marigny, and Travis Williams, all of Lewisville, TX; one sister, Jean (husband, Louie) Manci of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allen Kemme officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
