

MaryAnn Stanberry, 59, of Kincaid, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. John's Hospital. She was born on November 4, 1956 in Alton, the daughter of Samuel E. and Norma Baker Biondolillo. She married Daryl Stanberry on July 21, 1984 in Virden. MaryAnn graduated from Roxanna High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Blackburn College in 1978. She later became certified in Early Childhood Development and was a dedicated teacher for 33 years for Head Start of Illinois Valley. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, rescuing animals, and going to Bunco club. She was preceded in death by her father. MaryAnn is survived by her mother, Norma; her husband, Daryl; her children, Mandy (James) Allen of Divernon, Jason (Dawn) Stanberry of Virden, and Joseph McHenry of Springfield; her grandchildren, Jeremy Stanberry and Leah Preston; her siblings, David (Kristin) Biondolillo of Wynne, AR, Theresa (John) Endris of Springfield, and Anna Biondolillo of St. Louis, MO; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. The visitation will begin with a prayer service. Cremation care will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
