With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Missy, who left us far too soon. Born on June 7, 1955, to Georgia Ruth Stonham England and E. Dean England, she carried with her a quiet strength, a gentle spirit, and a heart that loved deeply.
She is survived by her daughters, Courtney Broderick and Cami Bisch (wife, Brandi Bisch), and her cherished grandchildren, Greyson Martin and Mason Wann, who brought her immense joy. Her love for her family was constant and unwavering she always wanted to ensure her daughters and grandchildren felt cared for, supported, and loved.
Missy was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She loved animals and never wanted to hurt a soul. Quiet and gentle, she found happiness in simple, meaningful moments whether it was movie nights at home, listening to country music, or spending time together as a family.
Some of our most cherished memories include evenings at the drive-in movies, visits to Fuddruckers, days at Lake Springfield Beach House and Knights Action Park, skating at Skateland, and camping trips to Lake Shelbyville. She also took pride in teaching her daughters how to drive moments filled with patience, laughter, and love.
She will always be remembered for the warmth of her home, including her delicious oatmeal cookies and quiche Lorraine, which brought comfort and joy to those around her.
She was a graduate of Southeast High School, where she was involved in the Junior Homecoming Court and Yearbook Committee early reflections of her gentle presence and connection to those around her.
While Missy faced mental health challenges throughout her life, they never defined her heart. At her core, she was a loving mother and grandmother who cared deeply for her family. Today, we find peace in knowing she is at rest, her mind at ease, reunited with her parents, Dean and Jody England, best friend Marcia Morris, Cousin Jackie Stonham, and our beloved pets.
A private graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, April 2, with family and close friends.
Her memory will live on in the love she gave, the moments we shared, and the family she cherished so deeply.
