Michael Dale Mike Roth, 64 of Auburn formerly of Springfield, Jacksonville and Carrollton, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Auburn Rehab and Healthcare Center. He was born December 19, 1953, in Carrollton, IL to the late Robert and Mary Elizabeth Betty Scoggins Roth. He worked as a custodian for many years for various businesses, as kitchen prep assistant at the Jacksonville Country Club, and as a caregiver for Complete Care. He enjoyed working with the Civil Patrol. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert and sister Judy. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. He is survived by brother, Thomas of Springfield; nephew, Tim and niece, Amanda; friends, Bob Rice and Barb Rodgers. Cremation rites will be accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois in Chatham, before all services. Graveside committal service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, on Thursday, July 12, at 10 AM, with Fr. Wayne Stock officiating.
