

Mildred Patricia “Pat” Hall, 84, of Springfield, passed away Sunday May 25, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born in Milwaukee, WI. February 21, 1930 the daughter of Harold and Mildred Clowes Ditmer. She married Kenneth L. “Pat” Hall August 14, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harold Ditmer.
Pat began her career as an operator with Illinois Bell Telephone. She then worked for many years as a retail buyer for John Bressmer Co, and retired in 1985 from Bergners. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Pat volunteered with her husband at Black Hawk School where she served as a teachers aid. She was named Volunteer of the year in 2002 by the Springfield School District 186. She also volunteered at Memorial Home Hospice and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by her daughters; Priscilla (husband Ernest) Moody of Springfield, and Brenda Lohman of Greenville, IL. She has 3 granddaughters; Melissa “Missy” (husband Jason) Durbin, Emily (husband Danny) Jett, and Tess Lohman, all of Greenville, IL and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 5-8 pm at the Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen, Springfield and also on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 11:30 am until time of funeral services there at 12:30 pm. Pastor Darryl Bolen will officiate. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
