Nancy and I became friends in grade school in Decatur, Illinois.  We lived a block from each other and walked to school, played paper dolls, rode bicycles and all the fun things little girls do....while giggling, of course.  Her parents were just great to me.  When she moved to Springfield I would take the Interurban train to visit her.  A wonderful person and life long friend...My sympathies to her family.

Lisa, Lori, and Carol: I'm so sorry to read of Nancy's passing. I had tried to call awhile back and was afraid that this might have been the case. It was so good getting back in communication with her, however briefly. When I spoke with her she really reminded me of your Grandma. And of course it was fun to tak about Bert. I was always pretty sure the sun rose and set over him! Get in touch if you have my # or email address. My thoughts are with you all.

Nancy was one of the most sweet and generous people I will ever have had the pleasure to have known. She was a blessing to my dad, Roy Neff, as well as to our entire family. I hope that they are dancing in heaven!

Nancy's Family - we loved visiting with your mom at Villa. My mom (Mildred Darling) and Nancy were the perfect roommates for each other. After mom passed, we'd stop by to see Nancy and always enjoyed our visits with her. We will miss her, but we know she's at peace. We pray for your peace and strength during your time of loss.

Nancy was a good friend and neighbor to me and my cats.  She was kind, thoughtful and a very caring person. She loved her family and was very proud of them.  She will be missed by many.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child.  My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Our sincere sympathies to the family at this time. Nancy was a sweet and caring person and we will miss her smile here at the office.

To my dear dear friend Nancy. We talked on the phone just a couple of weeks ago. We had many good times together going to all of the PWP activitis. We shall meet again my dear friend.

To Nancy's family--my Mom (Velma) was your Mom's next door neighbor in the condo complex on Jeanette Lane.  We so enjoyed visiting with Nancy, Helen and my Mom on weekends.  She never had an unkind word for anyone.  May your memories comfort you in this sad time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to read about Nancy's passing; my sincere condolences to her family.  I knew Nancy many years ago and have fond memories of her gentle kindness.  She was always smiling and very gracious.
