

Nolan was born October 30, 2011, in Hong Kong, the son of Troy and Jocelyn McDonald Piper.
Nolan was a 3rd grade student at Glenwood Elementary and a member of Hope Church. He loved being outside and enjoyed going to the beach and pools. Nolan loved being around people such as his family, classmates, and friends. He always had a smile on his face and his joy was contagious.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arthur Roy McDonald and Michael Piper.
Nolan is survived by his parents, Troy and Jocelyn Piper of Chatham; siblings, Colton (Krista) Piper of Spaulding and Riley Piper, Jaimee McDonald, and Francis Piper, all of Chatham; grandparents, Deborah Piper of Savannah, GA and Jennifer and John King of Rochester; great-grandmother, Mary Olga McDonald of Springfield; aunt, Corey (Clinton) Moore of Chatham; and uncles, Jason Piper of Herscher, IL and Derek Piper of MS.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Hope Church, 3000 Lenhart Rd., Springfield.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Hope Church with Pastor Brian Mills officiating. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be limited capacity. Family and friends may stream the ceremonies at https://www.facebook.com/groups/807909686802360/?ref=share
Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
