Patricia E. Keller

Patricia E. Keller, 87, of Springfield, (formerly of Nokomis and Dawson) died at 10:33 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Regency Nursing Care. Pat was born August 5, 1927 at Pana Hospital, the daughter of Leo H. and Kathryne Cashen Keller. Pat graduated from Nokomis High School in the Class of 1944. She was employed in banking and retired, after 30 years of service, from Illinois National and First of America Banks in Springfield. She was a member of St. Louis and St. Agnes Catholic Churches and attended services regularly at Regency. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary K. Weaver and infant Bernadine Keller; seven brothers, Jerome S. (Beulah), Hugh A. (Josephine), Paul B. (Joy), Charles A. (Adra), Leo J. (Julia), Alysious J., and Thomas E. Keller. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Keller and Mary Keller; nieces and nephews, Max Richard (Judy) Weaver, William E. Weaver, Jennifer Cole, Janet (Arlen) Carson, Sandra Ryan, Kay (Charlie) Gray, Carol (Jim) May, Jean (John) Compton, Paul E. (Minnie) Keller, Barbara (John) Spiess, Randy (Trudy) Keller, Jo Ann (Denny) Bauman, Gail (Chappy) Jayne, Gary Keller, Kathleen Keller, Jim (Wendy) Keller, Vincent (Alice) Keller, and Linda (David) Schmitt; numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Although she had no children, she was devoted to her beloved pets, Susie, Hollie, Boots, Kelli and Andy. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Private family ceremonies will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to: Benld Adopt-A-Pet, 807 Stewart Ave., Benld, IL 62009.
