Patrick Eugene Jackson

Patrick was born on May 25, 1955 to James and Clara (Pitt) Jackson.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Sammy, Howard, and James Jr. “Larry” Jackson; 1 sister Holly Powell; and his beloved grandson Zachary Chastain.

He is survived by his wife Mary; 5 sons, James Jackson, Alexander (wife Christi) Chastain, Brian (wife Stacy) Chastain, Patrick Jackson, and Christopher (wife Jessica) Chastain; 1 daughter Clara Jackson; 2 brothers, Michael and Kenneth Jackson; and many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, shooting his bow, and riding his riding lawnmower for hours. He had a love for music, cooking spaghetti, which oftentimes he would announce “Soups done!”, and of course cracking jokes.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. A Celebration of Life following his cremation is being planned for Saturday, April 23, 2022. More details to come.
